The breakfast was enjoyable and the room was surprisingly big. Extremely friendly staff who were happy to help. Particularly nice view, a great balcony, good bed, too. The beach was excellent. Spotless place and courteous service. Great value in a classy hotel.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends coming to York. The bed was comfy & the staff there were polite. Satisfied with breakfast's price - gbp 10 per person.

I recommend you to eat at The Maple Leaf Cafe, that is set 500 metres away. A canopy bed was a bonus.
